The best thing about Malaysians are the level of 'I-don't-fucking-care' in each and everyone of us... For example, I just got back from Subang Jaya by using a train shuttle service (KTM Komuter). The train was late for an outstanding 45 minutes! But there was no one, I mean, NO ONE... not a soul complaining! I bet if the same thing happens in your country, people will start pissing on the platform while throwing molotov cocktails all over the place by the 30th minutes. It's the normal way to react if you are a normal human being living the cruel, modern day that we are currently living in. Heck, in India, they burned down the cinema if the film ending is not satisfactory or the film protagonist dies.
I think if there are really aliens who traveled millions and millions of light years to come to earth with their twisted sexual fantasy by probing one's butthole, then, that aliens may have already assimilated with us in a faraway country known as... Malaysia. Why, you asked? Because we are not behaving like normal human beings who got pissed off so easily by shitty things like when you're asked to pay more than you should for a stupid 5 minutes ride into a Horror House in a low-cost funfair! And it was more of a laugh than horror for God's sake!
Nobody speaks to anybody, everyone was minding their own business... heck, if a blind man was caught on fire and later fall into a pit full of flesh-eating zombies in a shopping complex packed with people in Malaysia, I think the first thing that ever come to our good Malaysians' minds are, "Hey, a sale! 70% discount!" ...and, "I gotta take a dump, where the hell is the toilet?!" The truth is, it's good that we are minding our own business, at least everyone lives happily ever after... except for the blind man...of course!
The truth is, we Malaysian love peace! We tend to avoid confrontation more than any normal human beings outside of this country. We achieved independence through diplomacy, unlike some other countries (like our respective neighbor, Indonesia) whose independence was achieved through blood and sweat... No, we don't like to fire guns or to stab other people to death! We'd rather the white folks die for us... that's why our memorial sites are full of English names rather than our own. Go and visit Tugu Negara if you don't believe me.
However, there are people in Malaysia that care what other people think. For instance, the politicians. They just don't get it do they? if you come to Malaysia, you will love the news! They told us lies like we even care! We don't care at all who the heck rules the country! We don't care if anyone asked for a stripper or was caught in a sex scandal. All we care about are our daily routines. As long as our daily lives aren't affected, as long as the prices of goods were still affordable, as long as we have a place to go to work the next day, we are happy. It's a simple Math actually. We hate confrontations, that said, we really hate gathering around for a protest... We are a nation of HIPPIES!!! hahaha. Admit it, we are. If you don't think so, then, act like you care. Start acting like you have a heart. Give a pregnant woman a seat when you see her standing in a train. Start giving out money to the poor. Start living your life for others instead of your pitiful selves. And save the poor blind man from the pit full of zombies...if you really have the guts.
Hmm, I wonder... Why do we have so many millionaires and billionaires, but not one of 'em ever gave a tiny bit of their limitless fortunes to the poor here in Malaysia? Instead, they tend to keep their money to themselves and buy more cars and more houses just to tell people that they are the wealthiest of 'em all... It's a pathetic attempt really... Trying to gather as much money as you can only to be buried with nothing six feet under the ground when you die.. And to top it all of, you have to share your graveyard with other people too, with the good ol' blind man you refused to save a while back(the irony)... which pretty much sucks when you don't really like to share your things with people.
One more thing, we are a country rich with natural resources. We achieved independence with Singapore under our flags... but later, Singapore wanted to be a nation, so we let them free. We don't care about that. What we wanna know is, how come a country with no natural resources to start with, could achieve more than us? We got everything yet we lose to them entirely. They are currently closing a goddamn deal with the US and A to buy 100 Raptors just for the sake of it! They have everything we don't have. And we are the bigger nation. Why? Why are we still on the same page 20 years ago? Well, it's an easy answer.

Because Malaysian don't give a damn about anything, we don't care if our country's money is being sucked clean. We don't care if we have to pay high taxes to cover the missing money from the federal reserve. We don't care for anything, except for ourselves. That's good! Actually, it's much easier for the leaders of this country to attend to all of the citizens' needs. We need a stable life, we don't wanna know about money laundering, about the big bungalow/condominium that you bought using the people's hard-earned income. We really don't care. Take as much as you want, but please take care of us. Give our kids the education they need, give us the work that pays better, keep us far from harm, and make sure the foods are still in affordable prices. That's all we asked for. Other than that, you can do whatever you want with the money. We don't care. We really don't.
